The California Department of HeaLth Activates Public Hotline

The CA Department of Health has activated a public hotline for calls with questions about the current outbreak of H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu). Callers (Spanish and English speaking) can download the California Department of Public Health flyer for full details.

California Primary Care Association (CPCA) is the statewide leader and recognized voice representing the interests of California community clinics and health centers and their patients. CPCA represents more than 600 not-for-profit community clinics and health centers (CCHCs) who provide comprehensive, quality health care services, particularly for low-income, uninsured and underserved Californians, who might otherwise not have access to health care. Together Rx Access® Program Expands Eligibility Income Levels

Prescription Savings Now Available to Nearly Ninety Percent of Uninsured Americans

Together Rx Access®, a prescription savings program sponsored by many of the nation’s leading pharmaceutical companies, helps eligible uninsured individuals and families save on the medicines they need to stay healthy and to manage chronic conditions. Cardholders can use the free to get and free to use Together Rx Access Card to save on hundreds of brand-name medicines, as well as thousands of generics, right at the pharmacy counter.

The Program’s sponsors recently expanded the eligibility income levels so that nearly 90 percent of uninsured Americans are now eligible for the Together Rx Access Card.
