About LACMA

Public Policy Education Fund

The LACMA Public Policy Education Fund was created to educate current and future physicians on becoming effective health advocates. The PPEF is also chartered with informing elected officials and the public about the challenges physicians and their patients face under the current healthcare system. The PPEF sponsors events such as the annual Legislative Leadership Day and provides assistance to medical students who wish to attend.

In the past five years, the PPEF has sponsored scholarships for over 150 medical students to attend.
