PROGRAM BROCHURE |
Pain Management and End-of-Life Care in
California's Regulatory Environment
Early Bird Deadline is August 16! |
|
| |
This practical, two-day seminar completely fulfills
California's AB 487 mandate, which requires California
physicians to complete 12 hours of Category-1 CME in pain
management by December 31, 2006.
In the words of one of last-year's attendees:
|
|
|
|
“I came here because I had to; it
was legislated. So I had an attitude that it was a bit like
traffic school. Instead, I was informed, challenged, and even
inspired to treat pain and end-of-life more.”
This program has been tailored to meet the
needs of physicians who do not specialize in pain medicine and are
seeking directly-applicable clinical information. The seminar, which
includes ten breakout sessions on various aspects of patient care,
allows physicians in different specialties to create a program that
is relevant to their practice.
